Happy Birthday with Pinkfresh Studio

Hello crafters! Happy Saturday! 🙂

Today, I`m showing you my latest handmade birthday card which I made for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week`s challenge is Anything Goes featuring Pinkfresh Studio products.

The inspiration for this card I got from Sara Cook (@cardcrazycook) and one of her cards.

The products from Pinkfresh Studio that I used are Nothing but the Best Bundle and Intricate Stitched Ovals Die Plate.

For colors, I used some inks from Altenew: Nimbus and Cloudy Sky for flowers, Evergreen and Forest Glades for leaves and Sicilian Amber for the middles of the flowers.

First, I stamped the image with the Gina K. Designs Black Onyx ink on the piece of Gina K. Designs white cardstock and then I used all five stencils from the bundle to add my colors. The sentiment is also from that bundle and I stamped it with the Altenew Nimbus ink. I layered it four times to give it some extra dimension.

I ran a piece of a white cardstock through my Sizzix with an Intricate Stitched Ovals Die Plate so I could ground the flower better. The blue cadstock is actually a white cardstock which I inked with the same ink color that I used for the flowers. This is a great way to use all the scraps that we have and to get a color of cardstock that we need. 🙂

I hope you will join me with your creations over at https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge and show us all some more inspiration.

Thank you all for visiting my blog and have a nice day! 🙂
